A new Excitel OTT plan has been launched in India for OTT lovers. The indigenous internet service provider (ISP) has joined hands with the popular OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar to launch the new bundled plan in India. As is evident from the plan’s name, it’s intended for multimedia and OTT lovers in the country. The new plan offers users multiple OTT and TV channels at a nominal monthly rate. Excitel-Disney+ Hotstar OTT Bundled Plan Launched in India
Excitel has announced a new premium OTT bundled internet plan in association with Disney Plus Hotstar. With the new plan, the home-bred ISP will offer premium content to its subscribers. The new Excitel-Disney Plus Hotstar plan is priced at Rs 599 monthly. For the price, users will get access to 12 OTT channels and more than 550 live TV channels to its subscribers. The plan offers 400Mbps internet speed and allows users to stream simultaneously on two devices (mobile, laptop, or TV).
The company has not revealed which 12 OTT channels are included with the new plan. However, the official website has a 400mbps, “The Cable Cutter” plan listed with Disney Plus Hotstar, Sony LIV, Zee5, Alt, Hungama Play, Hungama Music, Hubhopper, Shemaroo, Fancode, Distro Tv, Epic ON, and PlayboxTV listed. We can expect the same OTT channels to be added with the new Excitel Disney Plus Hotstar plan as well.
The Cable Cutter plan is priced at Rs 592 per month if users opt for the annual plan and Rs 847 monthly for a quarterly plan. On the contrary, the new Excitel Disney Plus Hotstar is priced at Rs 599 per month without having to purchase a long-time subscription.
Excitel also recently launched a new Rs 999 plan for OTT lovers in India. The annual plan not only offers OTT and Internet benefits to subscribers but also a 32-inch smart TV. Users must sign up for a yearly subscription to enjoy benefits like smart TV and OTT apps. The plan is priced at Rs 999 per month and Rs 11,988 yearly. Excitel doesn’t levy any additional charges for the router and installation.
With the Rs 999 plan, subscribers get a 32-inch frameless smart TV with an HD-ready LED display, 6 OTT apps (Alt Balaji, Hungama Play, Hungama Music, Shemaroo, Epic On, and Playbox TV), and over 300 live TV channels. These plans are currently available only in Delhi.
