OPPO is all set to introduce new smartphones under it’s popular F series of smartphones. Earlier today, the brand shared a teaser on twitter claiming that the upcoming OPPO F17 Pro will be the sleekest smartphone of 2020 under Rs 25,000 segment in India. Though the launch date of the OPPO F17 Pro is not yet confirmed, but it shouldn’t be far. OPPO F17 Pro is not the only smartphone that will be launching soon in the country as we had earlier told you that OPPO F17 will launch in early September. Now, a promotional banner that we obtained from our sources has revealed that the company will also launch the OPPO F17 alongside OPPO F17 Pro in India, and we can expect both the device to launch in September.
OPPO F17 will Feature dual-punch-hole OLED Panel and in-display Fingerprint Sensor
To recall, OPPO had introduced OPPO F15 back in January this year. OPPO F17 seems to sport an OLED panel as an in-display fingerprint can be spotted in the promotional images, which is similar to what we had seen on OPPO F15. OPPO has decided to go with a dual-punch-hole notch on OPPO F17 to accommodate selfie shooters compared to a waterdrop notch on the previous-gen OPPO F15.
OPPO F17 has a Quad-rear Camera Setup
OPPO F15 had a quad-rear camera setup which OPPO is retaining on the OPPO F17 but it is not clear if the brand will retain a 48MP primary lens or will go for a 64MP sensor to compete with other smartphones in the segment. The camera layout is a bit different this time compared to OPPO F15, and OPPO has gone with a squircle camera island on the top left that houses four-cameras, an LED flash can be found on the right side of the camera module. OPPO F17 seems to have a camera bump similar to most other recently launched phones.
Though nothing has been confirmed about the battery yet, but we can expect to see a battery with around 4000mAh capacity and VOOC charging support. OPPO has already confirmed that OPPO F17 Pro will be just 7.48-inch thick and weigh just 164 grams. What are your thoughts on OPPO F17 and OPPO F17 Pro, do let us know in the comments below?
