In January this year, Xiaomi expanded its Mi TV series in India by launching the 43-inch Mi TV 4A Pro and 55-inch Mi TV 4X Pro models in the country. More recently, the Chinese brand brought the 32-inch Mi TV 4A Pro to India. Thanks to a new tip that we received from serial leakster Ishan Agarwal, we can confirm that Xiaomi is planning to soon launch a new 50-inch model in the Mi TV 4A series in India.

Xiaomi to Launch 50-inch Mi TV 4A in India Soon

The 50-inch Mi TV 4A model was launched in China in January last year, so it is not the latest and greatest 50-inch model that Xiaomi has to offer. However, it still offers all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a 50-inch 4K TV. In India, however, Xiaomi may market the 50-inch Mi TV 4A as Mi TV 4A Pro instead. Since the Mi TV 4A series is positioned lower than the Mi TV 4 Pro and Mi TV 4X Pro series, you can expect the 50-inch Mi TV 4A to be a lot more affordable than the 55-inch Mi TV 4 Pro and Mi TV 4X Pro models.

The 50-inch Mi TV 4A comes with a 3840 x 2160 4K Ultra HD resolution panel with a claimed static contrast ratio of 5000:1, 60Hz refresh rate, and 178-degree wide viewing angles. In addition to a much higher resolution than the 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models that are on sale in India, the 50-inch version offers support for HDR10+ HLG. Like the other Mi TV 4A models, the 50-inch version features Xiaomi’s custom PatchWall user-interface with access to a rich content library.

When it comes to connectivity, the Mi LED TV 4A 50-inch includes 3x HDMI, 1x AV, 2x USB, 1x Ethernet, and 1x S/PDIF port. Some of the other key features of the 50” Mi TV 4a include 2x 7W speakers, 64-bit Amlogic L962 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and a Mi Bluetooth remote control with voice recognition feature.
