Extraction 2’s highly anticipated second trailer has now been released by Netflix. Chris Hemsworth returns as Tyler Rake in this action-packed movie, but this time with a deadlier purpose, having previously worked with director Sam Hargrave and the Russo Brothers on the critically acclaimed Extraction. The eagerly awaited movie will premiere on June 16 exclusively on Netflix.
In September 2021, as part of their Tudum celebration, Netflix revealed a teaser trailer for Extraction 2. Beginning with a recount of Rake’s final moments, the video demonstrated how he was shot and fell into a river. In April this year, Netflix released another teaser and, now Netflix has released a second trailer for the movie and we love it.
The second trailer for the upcoming action sequel “Extraction 2” from Netflix gives viewers a glimpse of a jaw-dropping one-shot action scene with Chris Hemsworth’s Tyler Rake in command. More importantly, Netflix has released the trailer in multiple languages, including English, Tamil, and Telugu.

Netflix has announced that it will be releasing Extraction 2 on its platform on June 16 and teased fans with a new trailer barely minutes ago. The trailer gives an insight into what to expect from the movie. Interestingly, Netflix has also introduced a trailer in Tamil and Telugu languages. Viewers need to have a subscription to the streaming giant to watch the movie.

Official Trailer and Plot
Rake, the Australian black operations mercenary who just about made it through the events of the first movie, is back and given another dangerous mission: rescuing the wounded family of a brutal Georgian mobster from the prison where they are being imprisoned.
Chris Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave collaborate once more, with Joe and Anthony Russo’s AGBO handling production and Joe Russo handling writing duties. Along with Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili, Golshifteh Farahani also stars in the movie.
Response
The launch of the first “Extraction” movie received the highest number of viewers in Netflix’s entire history. Following its initial four weeks of release in April 2020, the action movie reached around 99 million homes. The Fourth of July weekend saw it reenter the Top 10 releases, making it the fourth-most-watched streaming movie of 2020.
