FAU-G is finally live on the Google Play Store and since then it has garnered some mix responses. The game has been developed by Banglore-based nCore Games, which is backed by Vishal Gondal, the founder of fitness brand Goqii. The game was announced in India after a few days of PUBG Mobile India ban. Many thought that it would be the Indian alternative to the PUBG Mobile, though the company clarified that is not the case. The game offers a single-player campaign as of now, though the company has promised some new and exciting features via future updates. The company is planning to add guns, a battle royale mode, and more to the homegrown mobile game. Let’s take a closer look at all the upcoming features that will make its way to FAU-G in near future.
Top Upcoming FAU-G Features and Modes
New Battle Royale and Multiplayer Modes
Vishal Gondal, in an interview with IGN India, told that the developers are planning to bring a battle royal mode in the future. Currently, the game includes a story mode that allows single-player gameplay only. Gondal has revealed that the battle royale mode will come to the game eventually but not immediately. “The story mode will be the first one. And then we are hoping that over the period of six to eight months intermediately we will be launching more features and updates,” he told IGN India. Currently, the game shows two modes including Team Deathmatch and Free For All, though both the modes are locked. Furthermore, the developers will bring a new map for the battle royale mode. “We will most likely be looking at a different map for that,” says Hande. “But it is too early to reveal any details around that.”
The current iteration of the game does not have any guns and weaponry. This is primarily due to the Indo-China agreement of using no guns in Galwan Valley. Currently, one can only bare fists and melee weapons to fight the enemies in the single-player mode. However, the developers say that it will bring weapons once it introduces new maps. “Having said that, in the future updates as we go outside Galwan Valley, there will be weapons. And you saw the trailer where we even showed paragliding and machine guns…Guns and other conventional weapons will be there later on,” he told the publication.
The developers have confirmed that it will be bringing new Battle Pass to the game with future updates. Currently, the game offers Store option where you can purchase custom mods for the melee weapons. One can purchase the items using tokens, which can be purchased using real currency or by watching ads. A Battle Pass would be a nifty addition as it will provide with exclusive perks like new weapon skins, Characters, and so on as they finish certain missions.
That said, nCore is planning to bring a slew of features to its newly-launched game. Whether be it new battle royale and multiplayer modes or introducing new maps, the developers will gradually roll out these features at regular intervals. However, it would be interesting to see how the company will improve the whole experience in the coming months.
