
The FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 is FIFA’s official international competition, in which the greatest virtual soccer players from around the world compete to represent their country. It is frequently referred to as the FIFA World Cup of Esports.
The FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 will kick off on Tuesday, 11 July and go until Friday, 14 July at the Riyadh Boulevard venue in Saudi Arabia. The FIFAe Nations Series, co-organized by FIFA and EA Sports, represents a wide range of esports tournaments in which competitors in each competition play matches from the latest FIFA association video game. The tournament normally lasts over a year, with the final being known as the FIFAe Nations Cup.

FIFAe Nations Cup 2023: All You Need to Know

As mentioned earlier, this event will feature 24 teams split into four groups of six countries each. Following is the list of teams that are going to participate in the event:

The finals included two stages, namely Group Stage and Knockout Stage with the group stage set to take place from 11 to 12 July while the latter will be held from 13 July to 14 July. During the Group Stage, the teams will compete in a Double round-robin format and each game is treated as a single match, with no extra time or penalties. All teams will fight in a 2-v-2 scenario using EA Sports FIFA 23 FUT mode.

The top four nations from each group advance to the knockout stage, from the Round-of-16 to the final.
India is competing in the FIFAe Nations Cup for the second time. In its first appearance, India was eliminated in the group stage after losses to Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Mexico, and Morocco. However, it made a great comeback this year.
The eTigers began their FIFAe Nations Series 2023 voyage in December 2022, in the Play-Ins stage, and advanced to the playoffs after completing the Online Qualifiers Main Stage in April.

Team India will be represented at the FIFAe Nations Cup by Saransh Jain, Charanjot Singh, and Saksham Rattan, who will be coached by Siddh Chandarana, another sensation in the country’s FIFAe scene. India scored the highest goals (157 goals) throughout the tournament.

Charanjot is the highest-ranked player (individual) on India’s three players squad for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 at the Boulevard Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Team India is currently ranked number six in the world rankings and the second-highest-ranked team in their group.
France won the inaugural FIFAe Nations Cup in 2019, while Brazil is the reigning champions after winning the tournament the previous year.
Prize Pool Distribution
The tournament features a total prize pool of $100,000 USD which is distributed among the teams as follows:
- 1st place: $300000
- 2nd place: $150000
- 3rd-4th place: $75000
- 5th-8th place: $40000
- 9th-16th place: $20000
- 17th-24th place: $10000
