The Pixel 6a will be available for as low as Rs 25,999 ahead of the upcoming Flipkart Big Saving Days sale in India from May 1. The device is currently listed on Flipkart for Rs 31,999. However, the price will be lower as part of the Curtain Raiser Deals on May 1.


The Rs 25,999 offer will be inclusive of various offers on top of the discounted price. At the moment, the discounted price and offer details are unknown. However, the effective price is quite a good deal for someone who wants to get their hands on a Pixel phone without having to pay a flagship price.

The Pixel 6a comes with some good hardware under the hood. The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back with a 12.2MP main camera sensor and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. The phone also comes with some Google Pixel-exclusive camera features, such as Magic Eraser, Face Unblur, etc. The primary camera of the Pixel 6a also offers support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS). For selfies, the phone comes with an 8MP front camera sensor.

There is a 4,410mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out of the box. The phone also features Google’s own Tensor SoC found in the Pixel 6 series. Additionally, there is the Titan M2 security chip as well.

The Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, which is a bummer for the price. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. 

It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is no microSD card storage expansion support. Although the phone boots Android 12 out of the box, it has already received the Android 13 update. The phone is promised to get Android 14 and Android 15 updates as well. Also, the Pixel 6a will get security patches for five years from the time of its launch.
