  • The second race of the season is here.

  • Here’s how to watch Formula 1 Saudi Arabian GP on your phone, tablet, PC and TV.

The second race of the 2023 Formula 1 season is here; Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is scheduled for March 19, with FP1 starting from March 17.

Red Bull Racing had an epic start to the season with its 1-2 finish at Bahrain Grand Prix. RB19 looks strong, even stronger than its 2022 car, and it will be looking forward to keeping the momentum going, as Max Verstappen is looking forward to taking home his 3rd championship this year.

Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso also had an epic start to the season, securing the third spot on the podium. AMR already has scored almost half as points as its previous season from the first race. The Saudi Arabian GP will show if the AMR’s strong pace is a one-off thing or if it is really in the top 3.

Conversely, Ferrari faced a DNF on Charles LeClerc’s car and found itself out of the top 3. Last season, Ferrari scored a 1-2 in the first race. Ferrari will be aiming to come back stronger in Saudi.

Mercedes, the team that dominated the better part of the last decade, has been in an unfavourable position. It only scored one win last season, and it seems like the situation hasn’t improved. Its champion driver Lewis Hamilton has been very vocal about his disappointment.

You need to live stream the races to catch all the action in Formula 1. Unfortunately, Formula 1 will not be telecast on TV for this season.

Let’s talk about how to watch Formula 1 in India, what happened with the live telecast on TV, and more in this post.

Where To Watch Formula 1 Saudi Arabian GP Live Streaming In India?

Formula 1 used to be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. But if you’ve tried to live stream the Formula 1 races by searching for it, you will only find the Formula E races in the search results. Hotstar has also removed the option of Formula 1 under the Sports section in their app and website.

What happened was Formula 1 decided not to renew the TV and streaming rights with Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar. Autocar India reports that Formula 1 felt the money the networks such as Star and Zee offered for this year’s Formula 1 TV rights was insufficient. Ian Holmes – Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula 1, said, “We looked at the more traditional channels and platforms. Star was one of them. We had discussions with Zee and one or two others too. I want to be candid about this – we felt that the valuation of many of those parties placed on our property wasn’t similar to what we felt it was worth.”
