Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite is teaming up with Dragon Ball Super again and the new collaboration items are now live with the release of the latest v23.30 on Tuesday. Last year’s Dragon Ball collaboration (released in August 2022) was one of the biggest the game received. This time, the game added Piccolo and Son Gohan as purchasable skins. The two characters, which are now available to buy from the in-game shop, will accompany the roster of Dragon Ball’s playable characters including Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma.
With the new update, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items (1st collab items) are set to return to the Fortnite island along with the addition of Piccolo and Gohan. The Dragon Ball Super costumes and accessories from the previous collaboration will be available again in the Item Shop at a later date which is unclear at the moment.
Given the success of the first crossover, Epic Games seems to have done the right thing by launching another Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super Collaboration Brings in Gohan and Piccolo
The Son Gohan and Piccolo skins are both from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film, which pits both heroes against the wicked Red Ribbon Army. As mentioned above, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items are also back for usage in battle royale contests with this release.
On January 31, Fortnite patch 23.30 was released, introducing new stuff to the game, including this new Dragon Ball Super collaboration. The Gohan and Piccolo costumes are available via the Fortnite Store. Both items will be available until v23.40 in normal Battle Royale and Zero Build matches.

The Son Gohan’s skin includes an emote that transforms him into the Super Saiyan form. An additional Gohan-themed cosmetic package includes the following items:
- Gohan’s Cape back bling
- Also included with the Son Gohan skin, and can only be used with that skin
- Gohan’s Beast Axe pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Comes with added lightning effects whenever a weak point is hit
- Capsule No. 576 glider – 800 V-Bucks
The Piccolo skin also includes an emote that transforms Piccolo into his Power Awakening form. The Namekian also has a highlighted cosmetic package that includes the following items:
- Piccolo’s Cape and Turban back bling
- Also included with the Piccolo skin, and can only be used with that skin
- Piccolo’s Demon Symbol back bling
- Also included with the Piccolo skin
- Piccolo’s Handheld House pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Red Ribbon Army Aircraft glider – 800 V-Bucks
Aside from battle royales, the Dragon Ball Adventure Island in Creative Mode has returned. This island, like the one in August, has Goku’s House, Kami’s Palace, the Room of Spirit & Time, and Beerus’ Planet. You may also put your skills to the test in the Tenkaichi Budokai open PvP fighting arena on the island.
You can now take part in the Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest on this island to obtain the Gohan Beast Spray, and on 7 February, you can obtain the Orange Piccolo Spray by completing another Weekly Quest on the island. The island’s code is 5642-8525-5429.
Other updates in the new 23.30 version include a bug fix that restores emotes after a Victory Royale and new Reality Augments, such as one that grants the user a Mythic-level pistol. Weekly quests will also no longer expire after one week, allowing players to complete them and receive experience from now until the season’s conclusion.
The full list of new Reality Augments is as follows:
- Rift-jector Seat: When your Shield gets broken, you will rift into the sky with a short delay.
- Shadow Striker: Shadow Bombs can now be obtained from containers.
- Icy Slide: The player obtains a quick and slick speed boost after sliding.
- Harvester: Destroying plants will drop Big Bush Bombs and forageable items. Effects of forageable items increased for the remainder of the match.
- Mythic Munition: A Mythic-level pistol is added to the player’s inventory
