Apple and Sony are offering a free Apple TV+ 6-month extended trial to select PS4 and PS5 owners. Sony has a dedicated page on its official website for the PS4 and PS5 exclusive offer. Users only need a PlayStation Network account and an Apple ID to grab the exciting offer. So, what’s the catch? Not all PS4 and PS5 users are eligible to avail the free Apple TV+ benefit. Sony PS5 and PS4 Users Can Claim Free Apple TV+ for Limited Duration

According to the official Sony website, the free Apple TV+ subscription is exclusive to PS4 and PS5 users. For the uninitiated, the Apple TV+ is a premium OTT subscription service from the Cupertino-based tech giant. The platform has thousands of Apple TV+ Originals and acclaimed movies and shows to buy or rent. The Apple TV+ subscription offers access to premium content like Ted Lasso, Elvis, Severance, The Morning Show, Schmigadoon!, and more.

Apple already offers a seven-day trial to all new users who sign up and a three-month trial for those who purchase a new Apple TV 4K. However, with the new PlayStation exclusive offer, Apple is offering a free three-month trial to PS4 users and a 6-month free trial to PS5 users.

The PS4 and PS5 users can redeem the offer only through the console, and it cannot be redeemed on a PC or smartphone using PSN. Additionally, for PS4, only new subscribers to those who have never signed up for the service can avail of the offer.

As for PS5, anyone can avail of the offer even if they are currently on an Apple TV+ free trial or regular subscription. However, the offer is not valid for those who are subscribed to Apple TV+ via a bundle plan like Apple One. The free Apple TV+ offer is valid until July 31.

How to Avail Free Apple TV+ on PS5 or PS4?

PS5 and PS4 users can only redeem the free Apple TV+ offer using the console. Here are the steps to redeem the offer.

Find the Apple TV app on your console (Search bar on PS5 or under All Apps in Media Home / TV and Video section on PS4).
Download Apple TV and open the app.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Sign in with your existing Apple ID or create one if you don’t have one.
