Indian Government banned Garena Free Fire earlier in February this year, thus the game was taken down from the Play Store and App Store. However, Free Fire MAX, the enhanced version of Garena’s hit BR mobile game is still available to download on the Google Play Store but not on the Apple App Store. Here in this piece, we will guide you to download Free Fire MAX on your iPhone from the App Store.

Free Fire MAX is the improved version of Garena Free Fire which comes with enhanced graphics and in-game mechanics. As of now, there is no official date for Free Fire unban and players can do is wait and hope for an optimistic outcome.

How Free Fire MAX is Available on iOS From App Store

Free Fire MAX is readily accessible and downloadable on Google Play Store but it is not the same case with Apple’s App Store. For that, you need to change your region/country in the App Store settings to download and install the game on your iPhone.

Follow the steps below to understand the whole process without any difficulty and enjoy the game thoroughly on your iOS device.

Step 1: Head over to the Apple App Store on your iPhone and Go to your Profile section by tapping on the profile icon on the top right side of the screen.

Step 2: Go to your account settings and then tap on the ‘Country/Region’ option.

Step 3: You will be shown all the countries available. Scroll down to the last and select the United States and Agree Teams and Conditions.

Step 4: Select Payment Method as None and Fill-in your name and all the details related to the address (like- Street, City, State, zip code, Phone etc).

Step 5: Once you fill in all the details mentioned above and click on the Next option.

For a few iOS devices, it will require verification to change your region. Otherwise, with the above process, the region will be changed. After the region was changed, go to App Store and search for Free Fire or Free Fire MAX in the search box. The game will be shown in the search results. Download the game and after the game gets installed, change the region back to India.

Note: The region change process should be done in a single go. The process should not be interrupted otherwise you have to start from the beginning again.
