Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 series was certified by the NBTC certification authority in Thailand earlier this week, confirming the marketing of the most affordable Galaxy S10 model. Thanks to leakster @IshanAgarwal24, we have now obtained exclusive press renders of the Canary Yellow color variant of the Galaxy S10e, revealing an Infinity-O display and a dual-camera setup on the back.
Samsung Galaxy S10e to Sport a 5.8-inch Infinity-O Display
The press renders clearly show the Galaxy S10e will sport an Infinity-O Display with a punch-hole for the selfie camera in the display. Similar to the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10e will only have a single camera on the front. The Galaxy S10+, on the other hand, will feature two cameras on the front. However, unlike its more impressive siblings, the Galaxy S10e will not have a dual-curved display. As a result, the screen-to-body ratio is likely to be slightly less impressive. Another major difference will be the lack of an In-display fingerprint sensor. Instead, the Galaxy S10e’s fingerprint sensor will be embedded inside the power button on the side. On the back of the handset, we find a dual-camera setup with the two camera sensors stacked horizontally. We can also confirm that the Galaxy S10e will indeed feature a 5.8-inch sized display, as suggested by some previous leaks. In terms of physical dimensions, the smartphone will measure 142.5 x 70.5 x 8.1mm (including the camera bump). The vanilla Galaxy S10 will have a 6.1-inch display and measure 149.9 x 71.6 x 8.1mm. Samsung Galaxy S10+ will have a 6.4-inch display and measure 157.0 x 75.3 x 8.1mm.
All the three Galaxy S10 models will debut at the upcoming Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 20. The Galaxy S10e will be available in a single memory configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Apart from Canary Yellow, the smartphone will come in Prism Black, Green, and White colors at launch. Samsung will offer the Galaxy S10 in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage. The Galaxy S10+ will come in a total of three memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage. All the three smartphones are expected to be powered by an Exynos 9820 8nm processor in India and most other markets. In the US, however, they will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 7nm SoC. According to a recent leak, the Galaxy S10 series will start at INR 50,000 in India.
