Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch a new budget Android tablet. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 made an appearance on the geekbench database website a couple of weeks back. Now, the key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Tablet have surfaced on the web, courtesy of Snoopy Tech. The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 will offer a 10.5-inch LCD display and a UniSoC processor. The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 is said to offer a 10.5-inch LCD display with a 2,000 x 1,200 pixel resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device might be powered by an octa-core UniSoC T618 processor. The UniSoC T618 makes use of two Cortex-A75 cores and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. It is built on a 12nm fabrication process and comes with an integrated Mali G52 GPU that takes care of graphics-related tasks.
Snoopy Tech suggests that the Tab A8 2021 will come with 4GB of RAM. However, the device was earlier spotted on the Geekbench database with 3GB of RAM. So, there are chances that the base variant might feature 3GB of RAM. The users might get an option to choose between 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB onboard storage.
The upcoming Tab A8 2021 might offer an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The tablet might be equipped with a 7,040mAh battery and 15W fast-charging support. It is said to weigh about 476g and might be around 6.9 mm thick. The tablet might also offer a quad-speaker setup. It is said to come in WiFi and LTE variants. As revealed in the Geekbench database listing, the device will boot Andorid 11 with Samsung’s OneUI skin on top.
