Following numerous rumours and speculations, Microsoft is bringing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 to Xbox Game Pass today, that is, July 24. Modern Warfare III is the first COD title to arrive on Game Pass after Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Makes Its Debut on Xbox Game Pass
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The announcement comes after Microsoft announced weeks after price hikes on its Game Pass subscriptions.
In June, Xbox confirmed that Black Ops 6 will arrive on Xbox Game Pass as a Day One release in October 2024. Surprisingly, Modern Warfare 3 is joining the service even earlier and includes the entire package – campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies. It remains unclear if DLC will be included in the Game Pass offering.
Despite the game’s mixed reviews, the inclusion of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass can be seen as a strategic effort by Microsoft to add value for subscribers following recent price hikes. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate received a 51% percent increase while the PC Game Pass saw a 28% increase (in Indian Rupees).
The arrival of Call of Duty MW3 on Game Pass was reported by eXtas1stv on X. Now the same source speculates that Valorant will be released on console on July 26.

Apart from this, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 will be out today at 9:30 pm IST. Players can expect new maps, modes, weapons, and operators, including a collaboration with WWE. A mid-season update will introduce additional maps, modes, and weapons. Additionally, the WWE SummerSlam event will introduce the new Slam Deathmatch mode, starting July 31.
