PlayStation 5 games are fun once you get past the initial setup process. This is where you choose your preferred game settings like difficulty level, subtitles, controls, audio, etc. These settings allow you to customise the gameplay experience to suit your preferences and needs. However, it can get frustrating to make these changes repeatedly whenever you have to play a new game.
This is where PlayStation 5 game preset settings come to the rescue. It lets you set some commonly seen video game settings so you do not have to adjust them manually. Here is how you can use the settings.
How to Preset Game Difficulty on PS5
- Visit PlayStation Settings from the console’s home screen by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down until you find Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
- Select Game Presets > Difficulty which is set to Game Default.
- Choose your preferred game setting: Easiest, Easy, Normal, Hard, or Hardset.
It is important to note that your chosen difficulty level will be applied only to games, which offer different difficulty levels. If a game does not have a difficulty setting, it will continue to run on the default difficulty.
