Acer Nitro Blaze 7 comes with a 7-inch FHD IPS screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, and it supports AMD FreeSync Premium. While this refresh rate surpasses the other models in the market, it utilizes an LCD touch panel rather than an OLED display.
Moving onto the actual specification, Nitro Blaze 7 is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS with 8 cores and 16 threads. The chipset supports maximum clock speeds of up to 5.1GHz. It is paired with Ryzen AI, clocking 39 total AI TOPS, and Radeon 780M graphics.
In terms of memory and storage, this device offers 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and up to 2TB of NVMe SSD for storage. Additionally, it includes a dedicated SD card reader for expandable storage. While the Nitro Blaze 7 offers ample storage, its 50.04Wh battery might fall short compared to competitors in terms of battery life(slightly higher than Legion GO).
The Nitro Blaze 7 boasts impressive connectivity, featuring dual USB-C ports with 40Gbps speeds and supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies. However, the lack of back buttons or a touchpad might be a drawback for some users.
The Nitro Blaze 7 comes with Acer’s Game Space app, integrating popular gaming platforms and offers a console-like UI on Windows 11. It features dedicated mode-switch buttons and a virtual keyboard key for added convenience. Buyers also receive a complimentary three-month PC Game Pass subscription.
