Fortnite has shared the official Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 launch trailer. It reveals the much-awaited OG Season 3 is coming to Fortnite on March 25. The trailer further teases new content including skins and weapons coming to the game. Here is everything we know so far.
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3: What to Expect?
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 is confirmed to release on March 25. However, the official release time is currently unknown. The new season will succeed Chapter 1 Season 2 which arrived on January 31.
The 30-second official launch trailer for OG Season 3 has teased various in-game cosmetic items and weapons. The trailer is titled “The Event That Started It All,” which refers to the meteor event from the 2018 period. This event holds a special place among Fortnite fans.
The Fortnite OG mode is known for introducing remixed versions of skins that debuted during the original season cycle. Chapter 1 Season 3 is teased to offer remixed versions of Raptor, Rex, and Raven skins. One can also notice that Dark Voyager has also been refreshed with a reflective helmet and leather vest.
In terms of weapons, Fortnite OG seems to be getting Desert Eagle, Silenced SMG, Heavy Shotgun, and Hunting Rifle. It could also mark the return of Guided Missiles and Clinger. The teaser goes on to show notable map locations like Lucky Landing, Tilted Towers, and Dusty Depot.
For those who might not be familiar, Fortnite OG was introduced in December 2023 as it reverted the game to a 2018 setting. It allowed players to buy skins from the original season and also get throwback weapon loot. It returned in December 2024 which is when Fortnite revealed it to be a permanent mode going forward in the game.
