
Microsoft has officially announced Gears of War: Reloaded, a remastered version of the original game released in 2006. The new version promises 4K 120fps support, native optimisation, and other improvements. The biggest highlight is that it will be the first Gears of War video game to arrive on PlayStation. Gears of War: Reloaded Launch Date Revealed
The official announcement reveals Gears of War: Reloaded will launch on August 26, 2025. The remastered game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PlayStation 5, and PC. It can be purchased on PC via Steam and Xbox PC. It will be a day-one release for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Microsoft added that Gears of War: Reloaded will support Xbox Play Anywhere. This means players can buy it once and play on both Xbox consoles and Xbox PCs.
Gears of War: Reloaded Price
Microsoft has announced a USD 39.99 SRP for Gears of War: Reloaded on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and PC. The company is further offering a free upgrade to the remastered version to anyone who purchased Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (digital) before the announcement.
All eligible customers will receive a free code to the game via DM on their Xbox accounts ahead of the game’s launch.
