Sony has officially announced that God of War Ragnarok will be released on PC on September 19, 2024. The announcement was made at PlayStation’s latest edition of the State of Play event. The PC version was developed in collaboration with Jetpact Interactive, the same studio that also worked on the God of War (2018) PC port.
God of War Ragnarok for PC: Features
The blog post announcement suggests that the God of War Ragnarok PC version is ready to take full advantage of PC power. It will support unlocked framerates and 4K resolution on compatible hardware. There will be complete integration with NVIDIA RTX DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS technologies for better resolution output and improved graphics.
The PC port will also work with 21:9 ultra-widescreen and 32:9 super ultra-widescreen monitors. This means that all you need is the right hardware, and the God of War Ragnarok PC version will offer the best possible features.
Sony added that the God of War Ragnarok PC port will come with a New Game+ mode and Valhalla DLC. The latter was released as free DLC for all Ragnarok PlayStation players in December last year.
One important note is that Sony says, “Account for PlayStation Network is required” in the footnote. A PSN account will be needed to play the game on a PC. This requirement is similar to Helldivers 2, but Sony had to backtrack on it after facing backlash. We will have to see how things go this time around.

God of War Ragnarok for PC is available for preorder on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is available in Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, priced at Rs 3,999 and Rs 4,799, respectively.

Unfortunately, Sony has not revealed the God of War Ragnarok PC system requirements yet. It says these details will be shared closer to the official launch, which is September 19.
