Hangar 13 has officially confirmed Mafia: The Old Country will launch on August 8. The fourth video game in the series and prequel to the first Mafia game was first announced at The Game Awards 2024. The studio has also released the game’s first gameplay trailer to showcase what to expect.
Mafia: The Old Country Editions, Price, and Pre-orders
Mafia: The Old Country will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions. The Standard Edition is priced at Rs 3,799/USD 49.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The Deluxe Edition, packed with a few bonuses, will cost Rs 4,599/USD 59.99.
Both editions come with the Solidato Pack for those who pre-order. It includes “Soldato” Outfit, “Scannaturi Speciale” Knife, “Tesoro” Horse and Accessories and “Lupara” Charm. Pre-orders are currently live across all stores.
The Deluxe Edition offers the following extra perks:

Mafia: The Old Country Gameplay Trailer and Other Details
Hangar 13 has revealed Mafia: The Old Country will deliver a “focused, linear experience” and a “refined” take on the usual Mafia gameplay experience. This means the game will not have a vast open world to explore, which has become a common theme among modern games.
It is a third-person action-adventure game set in 1900s Sicily. Our protagonist is Enzo Favara, who had a rough childhood and wants to make it big in the Torrisi crime family. The studio is promising an engaging and emotional story filled with twists, something Mafia games are well known for.
The studio has also shared the first Mafia: The Old Country gameplay trailer. It shows the beautiful world of 1900s Sicily. It offers a glimpse of melee and gunfight combat along with vintage vehicles. Check out the complete trailer for yourself below.
