As we step into the final month of 2024, Microsoft has announced the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for December, headlined by Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as a Day One release. Other standout additions include Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. On the flip side, 13 games are set to leave the service this month, including Forza Motorsport 4 (2018). Here’s a closer look at the details.
Xbox Game Pass Lineup for December 2024 (Wave 1)
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (Xbox Series X/S, PC, Cloud)
No one can deny that this is one of the most anticipated releases for this month. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by MachineGames and is set in 1937. Taking place between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the narrative follows Indiana Jones as he uncovers the secrets of the Great Circle – an enigmatic network of sites linked on a map – while battling rival factions seeking its power. Players will journey through iconic locations, including Rome, Thailand, Egypt, Shanghai, and the Himalayas.
The game marks the final major Day One release for Game Pass this year. It will debut as a timed exclusive on Xbox and PC, with a PlayStation 5 release scheduled for Spring 2025.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (Console)
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (2019), the remastered classic kart racer, is now available on Xbox Game Pass. The game features extra content from Crash Nitro Kart (2003) and Crash Tag Team Racing (2005), along with enhancements to the original gameplay. These include kart customization, two variations of the adventure mode, and an in-game shop.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in December 2024
Due to licensing agreements, Forza Horizon 4 is set to be removed from the Microsoft Store and Steam on December 15. Players can still purchase the game, along with other titles leaving the service soon, at a 20% discount to keep them in their library and continue playing. Following are the games that will leave Game Pass this month:
