Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for December 2024, featuring an impressive lineup of 15 new games, including Sonic Frontiers and Forspoken. These games will be available for subscribers, starting December 17. Here are more details.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for December 2024
According to the official blog post, this month’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog features 15 titles – 11 available for Extra tier members and an additional four exclusively for Deluxe tier subscribers.
Sonic Frontiers (PS4, PS5)
Sonic Frontiers is the latest addition to the Sonic franchise, introducing the series’ first-ever “open-zone” gameplay. Set in the stunning Starfall Islands, it blends high-speed action, platforming, and exploration, offering a bold and refreshing experience for fans of the Blue Blur. As of May 2023, the game has sold 3.5 million copies. 
Forspoken (PS5)
Forspoken, a PlayStation 5 exclusive, debuted in 2023 with high expectations, offering an open-world adventure filled with magic. However, it faced criticism for its underwhelming story, gameplay, and performance. Despite mixed reviews, it ranked Japan’s third best-selling retail game during its release week.
WRC Generations (PS4, PS5)
WRC Generations, developed by Kylotonn, marks the seventh and final entry in the studio’s World Rally Championship series. As the official game of the 2022 WRC season, it delivers an authentic rally racing experience, featuring iconic cars and legendary rallies. 
F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch (PS4, PS5)
F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch is a diesel-punk platformer where players control Rayton, a rabbit with a giant mechanical fist, fighting to free Torch City from a robotic invasion. The game features intense combat, puzzles, and a vibrant world, earning praise for its graphics and gameplay.
