Sony has unveiled a new limited-edition PlayStation 5 DualSense wireless controller based on The Last of Us series. The controller’s design features are inspired by the popular video game series, which HBO has also adapted into a TV show. The Last of Us PS5 DualSense Controller: Price and Availability
Sony has revealed that the PS5 DualSense The Last of Us limited-edition controller is priced at USD 84.99, EUR 84.99, and GBP 74.99. It will go on pre-orders on March 14, 2025 through the PlayStation Direct website and participating retailers. The controller will officially launch on April 10, 2025.
PlayStation Direct pre-orders will kick off at 7 AM PT in the United States and at 10 AM local time in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
There are no official details on the Indian pricing and availability yet. However, considering the track record of previously released special-edition controllers, it should arrive in the Indian market for somewhere around Rs 7,000.
The Last of Us PS5 DualSense Controller Design Details
Sony has revealed it collaborated closely with the Naughty Dog creative team for The Last of Us PS5 DualSense controller. It has a unique design featuring glossy trophy icons printed on the surface that will remind players of the key moments of the two games: The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2.
The controller has a Black and White colour combination. Fans of the series will instantly notice the three images of the firefly, moth, and wolf. The first image is the iconic logo of the Fireflies group from the first game. The latter two images represent Ellie and Abby’s lives from the second game.
Apart from the controller, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is set to debut on the PC on April 3, 2025. PC players will get all the visual enhancements and new features that arrived with the PS5 remastered version.
