The PlayStation Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller is inspired by the in-game “Dual Speeder” spaceship. Featuring Astro’s iconic blue accents, carved-in sci-fi lines, and the character’s signature eye-shaped touchpad, this limited edition controller will be available for $79.99.
Those who wish to get their hands on the sleeky Astro Bot-inspired controller can pre-order it, starting August 9. It will be offered in select regions in limited quantities, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal. The controller is set to launch alongside the new Astro Bot game on September 6.
As stated in the official blog post, this controller had been in the making for a while. With this controller, Players can feel different textures, such as grass, sand, and water, more vividly. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will be used to create realistic sensations for different in-game actions, such as firing a jetpack or fighting enemies.

Sony unveiled Astro Bot, a PS5 exclusive during the Sony PlayStation State of Play 2024. Developed by Team Asobi, the game serves as the sequel to 2020’s Astro’s Playroom. The game features over 80 levels across six galaxies and 50 planets. Players can traverse across these galaxies using the “Dual Speeder,” a spaceship uniquely shaped like a PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.
Astro Bot will launch for the PS5 on September 6, priced at Rs 3,999 for Standard Edition.
