The event will be held at YouTube Theatre, LA, with companion events like the Day of the Devs and the Women-Led Games show, among others. Summer Game Fest 2024 promises to be the major gaming presentation of June 2024 after the permanent cancellation of E3 last year. Hosted by the creator of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, the event features glimpses, trailers, and exclusive debuts of the most anticipated games of the future and beyond.
It will be a 2-hour showcase, which you can watch on YouTube and Twitch. The event’s main showcase will feature enticing promises of new game announcements, exclusive first looks, and captivating trailers. The event will showcase several creators, studios, and publishers unveiling their latest games. 2K Games is teasing the reveal of the next instalment in a beloved franchise, strongly suggesting it could be BioShock 4.

So far, the titles that are set to appear during the showcase include Baldur’s Gate 3, Palworld, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, First Descendant, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Delta Force: Hawk Ops, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Batman: Arkham Shadow Meta Quest.
Sony recently hosted its PlayStation State of Play event, which had some exciting news and announcements. However, it is expected that Sony will be revealing more first-party titles during Summer Game Fest, as per Midori, a prominent leaker. With over 55 partners confirmed for Summer Game Fest, the event promises to be a non-stop barrage of explosive announcements and juicy details about upcoming titles.
