Microsoft has officially unveiled the second wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for April 2025, bringing even more thrilling games to its expansive library. This month kicked off with strong day-one additions like South of Midnight, Blue Prince, and Wargroove 2. Now, the catalogue is expanding further with several notable titles to round out April and lead into early May. Highlights from the second batch include the highly anticipated day-one release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, alongside fan favourites like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto V.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a striking new RPG from Sandfall Interactive that blends emotional storytelling with a unique turn-based combat system. The game is set in a surreal world, and it follows a desperate group of heroes called Expeditioners on a final mission to stop the Paintress, a mysterious force who wipes out anyone matching the number she paints in the sky. The game is set to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 24, 2025.
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto 5 returns to Game Pass after being removed from the service earlier in 2024. While it may not stick around for long, subscribers can now experience the newly enhanced version of the game along with extra perks through PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate. Additionally, all players can dive into fresh content, including the Oscar Guzman Flies Again update, which adds new aircraft, missions, and more to the GTA Online experience. The game is now available for PC Game Pass, Standard and Ultimate tiers.
