
Microsoft has shared Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wave 1 lineup details featuring 12 new games. This month’s biggest addition is Doom: The Dark Ages, Bethesda’s latest first-person shooter, which will be a day-one release on the subscription service. The new video games will become playable on different dates. Here are all the details you need to know.
Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wave 1 Lineup Games
Doom: The Dark Ages (Console, Cloud, and PC)
Doom: The Dark Ages is an upcoming first-person shooter from Bethesda. Its story is a prequel to Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal. Players will again take control of the DOOM Slayer in another war against Hell. It is the third release in the modern DOOM series. The game will be available on May 15 to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Dredge (Console, Cloud, and PC)
Dredge is a single-player video game that combines the two things you would not imagine being together otherwise, fishing and horror. The game takes place in day and night cycles as you travel using a motorised fishing boat. The objective is to catch and sell fish or underwater items, upgrade the boat, and fight horror elements when you encounter them. It is now available on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
Dragon Ball Xenovere 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is an action RPG based in the Dragon Ball universe. Players can explore Conton City, inspired by Toki-Toki City, which serves as the game’s central hub. Your objective is to rescue the flow of History by participating in epic battles and learning new skills on the way. It will become available later today on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
Dungeons of Hinterberg (Console)
If you ever dreamt of visiting dungeons and slaying monsters, Dungeons of Hinterberg is the game you should try. This action RPG is set in a fictional town named Hinterberg in the Austrian Alps. The game has 25 dungeons for you to explore and a variety of monsters to slay. Each dungeon requires a different skill power that you will need to learn.
