Ubisoft has confirmed that XDefiant Season 1 will land on July 2. It revealed all the new in-game content that will be added with the update. XDefiant Season 1 Update Details
The first major addition in the XDefiant Season 1 update will be the new faction GSK. It is taken directly from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, another multiplayer game from Ubisoft, featuring three main characters. It will have two tactical ability options and one ultimate ability.
The update will bring three new maps to XDefiant. These are called Daytona, Clubhouse, and Rockefeller. Players will get one new map each month instead of getting all at once. This is probably to ensure there is something new for players during the Season 1 duration.
XDefiant will receive a new game mode Capture the Flag with the update. It has not shared specific details about the mode, though. Players will further receive three new weapons and complete Ranked Play. The latter will see players compete with each other for the top rank at the end of the season.
Since it is a free-to-play game, it is bound to have a paid season pass. XDefiant Season 1 Battle Pass will also be available featuring various rewards. The game is currently in pre-season stage.
