Garmin Venu Sq 2 Series Launched in India with AMOLED Display, up to 11 Days of Battery Life: Price, Specifications

Garmin has launched its new Venu Sq 2 series smartwatches in India. The company has launched two models in the Venu Sq 2 series. There is a Music Edition variant sitting above the standard model. The Music Edition variant of the Venu Sq 2 offers support for adding up to 500 songs on the smartwatch. 

Garmin has also upgraded the display in its new Venu Sq smartwatches. The screen is brighter than the outgoing model. It is also 17 per cent larger than the original Venu Sq. Let’s take a look at the Garmin Venu Sq 2 price in India, specifications and other details. 

Garmin Venu Sq 2 Price in India and Specifications

The Garmin Venu Sq 2 has been priced at Rs 27,990 for the standard model. It is available in Cool Mint, White and Shadow Grey colours. The smartwatch can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart, Tata Cliq, Nykaa and Synergizer. Customers can also get the smartwatch via offline markets from Garmin brand stores, Helio Watch stores and Croma.

The Garmin Venu Sq 2 Music Edition, on the other hand, has been priced at Rs 33,490. It will be available in Black, Ivory and French Grey colours. Both variants of the Garmin Venu smartwatches go on sale starting October 28 via the said outlets.

In terms of specifications, the Venu Sq 2 series features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display. The touchscreen panel has a 320 x 360-pixel resolution and comes with slightly thick bezels around it. The case is square in shape and made of aluminium. 

Garmin has also packed a bigger battery in the Sq 2 series. The company, without mentioning the total capacity of the battery, claimed that the watch can offer up to 11 days of battery life on a single charge. With the Battery PowerSaver mode, one can expect up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The device can be charged via pogo pin connectors, which are located on the back of the watch.

There is an updated fourth-generation heart rate monitoring sensor, which is claimed to offer accurate readings. The watch also offers support for stress and sleep monitoring. Users can check the detailed stats on the Garmin Connect app, which is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. 

The Watch also comes with features like Health Snapshot, which measures key metrics like heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiration and stress for two minutes. The results can be viewed either on the watch or via the Garmin Connect app.

There are also over 25 built-in sports modes, including the likes of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), running, cycling, yoga, pilates, pool swimming, cardio, etc. Users can also create a custom workout out of the 1600 options available. 

As expected, the Garmin Watch also lets users create a custom watch face or choose one from the several options that come pre-installed. If you buy the Music Edition variant, which is priced at Rs 33,490, you can also connect your Amazon Music or Spotify playlist for syncing with the Venu Sq 2.
