This Hindi-language family comedy-drama Goodbye is the directorial venture of Vikas Bahl, who also happens to be the writer. Viraj Savant, Shobha Kapoor, Bahl, and Ekta Kapoor serve as producers under their respective banners Balaji Motion Pictures, Good Co, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd. It had a theatrical release on October 7th, 2022, and opened to positive reviews from critics. However, its performance at the box office was less than satisfactory. Now, it is all set to make an OTT debut.

At the centre of this story is a dysfunctional household. A Lawyer, Tara Bhagga, and her partner Mudassar were residing in Bengaluru. After she wins her first case, she leaves to party. Her mother Gayatri tries to reach her but she doesn’t answer her phone. Later she finds out her mother is dead, from her father Harish. She travels to Chandigarh, where she and her father disagree about cremation rights. Her brothers are also present, and their father disagrees with them too, on certain points. For some time they need to all live under the same roof. What happens next forms the crux of this movie.
