Google Chromecast with TV (4K) Listed on Flipkart Ahead of India Launch; Price Revealed

A new Google Chromecast device is launching soon in India. The Google Chromecast with 4K support will launch in the coming days in India. The company has not revealed the official launch date at the moment but the launch seems imminent courtesy of a Flipkart listing.

The listing reveals the price and offers of the Google Chromecast in India. It will be priced at Rs 6,399. This makes it the most expensive Chromecast which has been launched in India so far. In comparison, the Chromecast 3 was launched in India for Rs 3,499. Let’s take a look at the Google Chromecast price in India, features and other details ahead of its launch.

Google Chromecast with TV (4K) Price in India

Google will launch its new Chromecast in India with 4K support in the coming days. The device has been priced at Rs 6,399 on Flipkart. As part of the launch offers, customers with a Citi Credit or Debit card can claim a 10 per cent discount up to Rs 1,500. The same offer is applicable for customers who purchase the new Chromecast with a Bank of Baroda card. 

Citi Bank customers can avail 10 per cent discount on the no-cost EMI offer as well. The exact date of availability of the new Chromecast is unknown at the time of writing this.

It was previously reported that Chromecast with Google TV will launch in India and 11 other countries later this year. The company launched the device in 2020 alongside the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5. In the US, it was launched for $49.99 (roughly Rs 3,950).

The new Chromecast device supports 4K output with Dolby Vision/Atmos content. It has 8GB of internal storage as well. The company offered Google TV access on the new Chromecast, which enabled users to have a list of various apps and features. 

Similar to the previous Chromecast models, the new 4K version has the traditional HDMI interface for connecting to regular TV sets.
