Google’s upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is probably the most leaked device we’ve ever seen. It’s almost too good to be true. There have been unboxing videos and high-resolution images of the devices and now we may even know the various colors the Pixel 3 could be offered in ahead of the launch next month.
Google could be set to release three different colors of the Pixel 3 – Black, White, and Mint. The source of the leak? These come courtesy of Google itself as part of a promo page the company put up.
The landing page shows the outline of the device with the Google logo at the bottom of the device. Clicking the image changes the background of the webpage and the outline of the device changes color too.
The outline of the three devices shows different color backgrounds that are assumingly the colors of the devices. The outlines of the devices are arranged in a way where a two-tone gradient is clearly seen that most likely represents the glass area of the device that we’ve seen with previous Pixel devices.
It would seem that Google is once again looking to pair the white version of the Pixel 3 with a different colored power button as it did with the Pixel 2 and judging by the images this is likely to be mint.
Google will be announcing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL next month at an event in New York on October 9th. As mentioned, there’s not much left to discover about the unreleased devices, unless of course, this is one big troll by Google.
According to the leaks so far, the Google Pixel 3 is supposed to feature a 5.5-inch display with FHD+ 2160 x 1080 resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9 but lacks a notch. Under the hood, there will be Qualcomm’s current flagship SoC, the 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 845 coupled with 4GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery. The Google Pixel 3 XL will sport a large 6.7-inch screen with 1440 x 2960 resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9 complemented with a notch. There will be 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage or 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage powered by a 3430mAh battery.
