What Do We Know So Far about the Pixel 3a?
The one thing we know for sure is that the Pixel 3a will be the most affordable smartphone in the Pixel 3 lineup, followed by the Pixel 3a XL. So far, there have been quite a few leaks and rumors regarding the Pixel 3a, as well as, the Pixel 3a XL.
Rumors suggest that the Pixel 3a will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor. And both storage variants (64GB and 128GB) of the device will come with 4GB of RAM. As you can see in the retail packaging images, the Pixel 3a will have a single camera. The camera sensor could most probably be the same 12MP unit that is in the Google Pixel 3. There is no information on the front-facing camera as of yet, but the device will most likely feature an 8MP camera sensor at the front.
The Pixel 3a could pack the same 2915mAh battery pack from its elder sibling, the Pixel 3. It makes more sense when you consider that the Pixel 3a will have a similar display size as the Pixel 3. Considering that all Pixel smartphones so far have had a USB Type-C port, the Pixel 3a could feature the same. Speaking of connectivity, there is still no information if the Pixel 3a will be a single-SIM or a dual-SIM device. The brand better offers a dual-SIM option as it is the most crucial feature for a majority of mid-range smartphone buyers in markets like India and China.
As for the Pixel 3a XL, it will be the Pixel 3a but with larger screen size and a larger battery pack. That being said, we can’t be sure of it until the launch of the device. Do let us know in the comments below what do you think of the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL.
