Google has finally announced the much-anticipated Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones at its GoogleNightIn event. Both the smartphones come with an interesting set of features, though there is no official word whether the devices will hit Indian shores or not. However, Google has now confirmed the launch date of the standard Google Pixel 4a smartphone in India. The regular Pixel 4a features Snapdragon 730G chipset, Full HD+ OLED screen, 3,140mAh battery, and more. So, let’s take a closer look at the launch date of the Pixel 4a along with its availability.

The latest Pixel 4a will be launched in the country on October 17th. The company confirmed this news on its official Twitter handle while replying to a user. The company says that the smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

Recollecting the specifications of Pixel 4a, it comes with 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 443ppi pixel density, HDR support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone equips with Titan M Security chip for enhanced protection and features a polycarbonate body with a matte finish.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU. It flaunts a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the Pixel 4a features a 12.2MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, dual PD autofocus, OIS, EIS and more. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter f/2.4 aperture.

The Pixel 4a runs on Android 10, which can be upgraded to Android 11. The phone comes with a 3140mAh battery and it supports 18W fast charging support. On the connectivity front, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2x2MIMO (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C Gen 1 port.
