Google Pixel 5A Launch Date Leaked, But It Might Not Launch in India

Google is prepping up to introduce the Google Pixel 5A smartphone and it’s no secret. The handset has been subject to multiple leaks from the last few months. The device’s renders and key specifications were leaked back in February. Additionally, we saw some the hardware specs of the handset emerging out via Android 12 Developer 3 preview back in April. Now, in a recent development, the Pixel 5A launch date, price, and full specifications are revealed by the Front Page Tech report. According to the Front Page Tech report, Google will launch the Pixel 5A on August 26th. The device will be launching in two markets – the US and Japan. Though Google introduced the Pixel 4A in India last year, the Pixel 5A won’t be launched in the Indian market.

As mentioned above, the Pixel 5A launch is set to happen on Thursday, August 26th. The handset will only launch in the US and Japan markets. The Pixel 5A will be available in the US and Japan for purchase through online and offline stores. Alongside, the launch date the price and specifications of the Pixel 5A is also tipped by Front Page Tech report. The Google Pixel 5A is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and an option to force a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood might be a Snapdragon 765G chipset and 6GB of RAM.

As for the optics, the smartphone is said to offer the same camera configuration as that of the Pixel 5. This does mean that the Pixel 5A dual-camera setup will include a 12MP main camera and a 16MP ultra-wide lens. The whole package might draw power from a 4650mAh battery. The device will lack wireless charging support. The Pixel 5A is tipped to come in a single Black colour option. As far as the pricing details go, the Pixel 5A is said to cost USD 450 (Rs 33,345). As of now, Google is yet to confirm the launch date of the handset. We should get to learn the official launch date of the device as the days pass.
