Google is holding an event on October 19, where the company will unveil its next generation of Pixel devices, including the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. However, even before the launch, some of the details regarding the products are already out on the web. Last month, some details about the camera on the two phones leaked. Just four days ago, Pixel Stand, Security App and Live Space Widget also leaked. Colour variants of the Google flagships were also revealed last month.
However, marketing material for the phones leaked and appeared only to be pulled down shortly, but tipster, Even Blass, tweeted them out.

Though the pages have been pulled down, we were able to retrieve some valuable information. The Pixel 6 Pro will come with a triple-camera setup. The main camera will come with a 50-megapixel sensor, alongside a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, which will offer 4x optical zoom. The phone is also capable of getting from 0%-50% under half an hour, as per Google.
For Pixel 6, the marketing material doesn’t talk much about the camera right at the beginning, but the Titan M2 security chip is mentioned. The phone will have the same primary camera as its big brother. However, there is no mention of the other two cameras that we can see on the back. The phone will also come with IP68 dust and water resistance.
Assembly Video Shows Pixel 6 Battery
Though the marketing material vanished from the web, an assembly video of the Pixel 6 smartphone has surfaced online. The video somewhat shows the phone’s design while revealing a piece of vital information about the battery capacity. The video shows the phone featuring matte sides. Two more such videos showing Pixel 6 Pro’s assembly and disassembly appeared on YouTube before this, but Google has removed them via DMCA.
The latest video only shows Pixel 6 assembly, without any voiceovers but some text. The video was uploaded by the channel Zeus Olympus. In the video, it can be clearly seen that the phone holds a 4614mAh battery.
Google will unveil its next flagship phones on October 19 at 10:30 PM (IST), and they will come with a more subtle duotone design rather than a contrasty design earlier Panda Pixels had. While the Google Pixel 6 may come with a 6.4-inch full HD+ flat display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Pixel 6 Pro may come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumours claim that both the phones will come with 33W fast charging.
However, the launch of these new flagships by Google is uncertain for the fans in India. Google earlier didn’t bring the Pixel 5a to India and the same may happen with the latest flagships. So, if you need one of those cool latest flagships from Google, you may have to either wait or get them imported, unless Google decides to launch them in India.
