The Pixel 7a will launch as a successor to the Pixel 6a, which was launched last year in India and many other markets. The company has not revealed or confirmed any details about the launch of the Pixel 7a at the time of writing this. However, the launch is expected to take place soon as the affordable Pixel has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website.

Some other details of the Pixel 7a have leaked in the past. Let’s take a look at everything we know about the Google Pixel 7a, right from its specifications to its design, ahead of the launch.

Google Pixel 7a Bluetooth SIG Certification

The Google Pixel 7a is rumoured to get some incremental upgrades over its predecessor. The phone has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG ahead of its debut. As per the Bluetooth SIG certification, the upcoming Pixel smartphone will have the model numbers G0DZQ, GWKK3, GHL1X and G82U8.

The listing also reveals that the Pixel 7a supports Bluetooth 5.3 standard. Unfortunately, these are the only two sets of details revealed via the Bluetooth SIG listing. However, other details of the phone leaked months before the launch.

The Pixel 7a is said to have the same design as the Pixel 6a. The phone will have a horizontal visor on the rear panel, which will house a tiny pill-shaped cutout for the dual-camera setup. There is also an LED flash next to the camera sensors. The power and volume buttons continue to remain on the right edge of the phone.

We can see some antenna lines on the frame, suggesting the use of metal for the chassis. Alleged live images of the phone revealed that the phone will feature 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the front, there will be a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. The phone will also feature the Tensor G2 SoC, Android 13 and support for 5W wireless charging, according to some leaks. More details about the upcoming Pixel should surface soon on the web.
