Google IO 2023 is set to kick off on May 10. At the annual developer event, Google will unveil Android 14 as its latest software for most smartphones worldwide. The company is also expected to announce multiple new hardware products. Google has confirmed that it will launch the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold at the event. The Pixel 7a is set to launch on May 11 in India. Ahead of the official launch, much about the upcoming Google smartphone has leaked online. The Pixel 7a will receive many upgrades over the outgoing model.
Adding to the leaks is a new one from tipster Ishan Agarwal and PriceBaba. The report includes live images of the Pixel 7a, which reveals some minute details about the upcoming Google smartphone. Let’s look at the Google Pixel 7a live images, specifications and other information we know.
Google Pixel 7a In White Leaks Ahead of Launch
The Google Pixel 7a will be similar in terms of design compared to the Pixel 6a. It is set to launch in India on May 11 and be available via Flipkart. Google has not confirmed the design officially. However, thanks to a PriceBaba report, we now have a closer look at the Pixel 7a. Leaked design renders of the Pixel 7a have mostly been revealing the front and rear panels of the phone. The new live images show that the Pixel 7a will have a USB Type-C port and dual speakers at the bottom edge. The left edge of the phone houses the SIM tray, whereas the right edge has enough room for the power and volume buttons.
MySmartPrice had exclusively revealed that the Pixel 7a would launch in three colours at least. It will have shades of Charcoal, Blue, and Snow. In addition, there is a Coral colour option for the Pixel 7a tipped as well. However, leaked marketing materials do not confirm the existence of the Coral colour option.
We also revealed the price of the Pixel 7a ahead of the launch. The phone will launch in Singapore for SGD 749 (roughly Rs 46,000) and offer 128GB of storage. In addition to this, we also revealed that the Pixel 7a cases will be available in White, Jade, Carbon, and Blue colour options.

In terms of specifications and features, the Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. There will be a waterdrop notch at the top for the 13MP front camera. The screen is flat and has fairly thin bezels around the edges. It will also refresh at 90Hz, which is an upgrade over the Pixel 6a’s 60Hz display.
The Pixel 7a will boot Android 13 out of the box. It will feature a Tensor G2 SoC under the hood. The device will also pack a 4400mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and 5W wireless charging. The latter would be a first in any Pixel A series phone.
On the back, Google will launch the phone with a dual-camera setup. There will be a 64MP primary camera sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and come with 8GB of RAM. It will weigh about 193.5 grams and measure 152 x 72.9 x 9.0mm.
