Google entered the true wireless earbuds space with the launch of the Google Pixel Buds back in 2020 and in mid-2021, the company followed it up with the launch of a budget-friendly, Google Pixel Buds A-Series, which was also launched in India.

Now, it looks like Google is working on a “Pro” model of the Google Pixel Buds, which could rival the likes of Apple AirPods Pro, Sony WF-1000XM4, and much more. The popularity of the true wireless earbuds has been growing rapidly over the past couple of years and Google certainly wants to set its foot in the big league with the Google Pixel Buds Pro in the premium segment.

Google Pixel Buds Pro Might Support Spatial Audio and Head Tracking

According to the tipster, Jon Prosser, Google is now prepping to launch the Google Pixel Buds Pro. As per him, the Buds Pro are coming soon and he has also tipped the colour options of the audio product. The Pixel Buds Pro is said to come in four colour options 一 Real Red, Carbon, Limoncello, Fog.

While we haven’t heard about this particular product in the past, some of the code in the Android 13 hints at a couple of features including spatial audio and head tracking support in Android 13. In another tweet, Mishaal Rahman says Google is already working on spatial audio as well as head tracking support in Android 13 and Google has kept secret around the head tracking. Also, there’s Bluetooth Low Energy audio support in Android now 一 the rumoured Google Pixel Buds Pro take advantage of all of these features.

It is worth mentioning that, as of now, since the details around the Buds Pro ars scare now, we are just joining the dots here and t is not guaranteed that all these features will arrive on a Google product. However, going by the moniker, the Pixel Buds Pro will likely come with support for active noise cancellation and support for spatial audio support.
