Along with the launch of the Google Pixel 6a mid-range phone in India, the company also announced its premium true wireless earbuds, the Google Pixel Buds Pro. Like the Pixel 6a, the Pixel Buds Pro was announced back at the Google IO 2022. A few days back the TWS’s availability in India was confirmed via Instagram comment.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro are a premium TWS and will rival the TWS like the Apple AirPods Pro, Sennheiser Momentum TWS, Sony WF-1000XM4, and the upcoming Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Let’s take a look at the details of the newly launched Google TWS.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro are wireless earbuds with in-ear style fir and stemless design. The Buds Pro Pixel Buds Pro use silent seal to adapt to your ear and help maximize the amount of noise cancelled. The built-in sensors will measure the pressure in the ear canal to offer a comfortable fit. These buds are packed with an 11mm driver setup.

The Pixel Buds Pro offers active noise cancellation and an immersive audio experience, which is the star of the show here. The buds offer support for transparency mode. On the inside, the TWS comes with a 6-core audio chip custom-built chip that runs Google-developed algorithms and is tuned by Google’s in-house audio engineering team.

As for the battery life, on a single charge, the Buds Pro are rated to last up to 11 hours without ANC and up to 7 hours with ANC on. With the included case, these buds can last up to 31 hours. Further, these also come with built-in Google Assistant and you also get real-time translation in 40 languages. Touch controls include a single tap, swipe to adjust the volume level, and touch and hold for ANC. Other features include wireless charging, beamforming mics, multipoint connectivity, Type-c charging port, IPX4 rating for buds, IPX2 rating for case, volume EQ, and Bluetooth 5.0, touch control.
