Google is likely to launch its first foldable smartphone at I/O 2023. The company will host its annual developer event for Android 14 on May 10. Alongside, Google is expected to launch its first Pixel foldable phone. The Pixel Fold will pack some premium hardware and come with a massive foldable display to take on the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The company has not confirmed any details about the launch. However, thanks to the rumour mill, a lot about the Google Pixel Fold is already out there.

Adding to the leaks is a new one by tipster Evan Blass, aka EvLeaks. The tipster has shared the official images of the Pixel Fold, which confirm the front and rear design of the foldable phone. Let’s take a look at the Google Pixel Fold design, specifications and other details leaked so far.

Google Pixel Fold Design Leaked Again

The new Google Pixel Fold design images give us a better look at the upcoming foldable phone, which is likely to launch on May 10. The leaked images shared by Blass reveal the front cover display and rear panel design of the foldable phone.

There is a flat display on the outside with fairly narrow bezels around it. The cover display has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The grey rear panel, which is likely to be called Obsidian, will have a horizontal camera module that is inspired by the Pixel 7 series. However, it does not get the visor-like design that goes end-to-end. Instead, the Pixel Fold’s camera module is a thick bar that houses a triple-camera setup.

The camera module has a pill-shaped cutout and another circular cutout on the camera module for the three sensors. We can also see the LED flash module next to the camera sensors. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the foldable phone.

Blass did not upload any details about the foldable display. However, thanks to a recently leaked live video, it was revealed that the Pixel Fold will have thick bezels at the top and bottom of the foldable display. The images confirmed that the front camera sensor above the foldable display is located at the top right corner of the bezel.

As per some leaked details, the Pixel Fold will sport a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 6:5 aspect ratio and 2208 × 1840-pixel resolution. The foldable display will refresh up to 120Hz. On the outside, there will be a 5.8-inch cover display with a 17:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution. The Pixel Fold’s cover display is also said to refresh at 120Hz.

On the back, the triple-camera setup will feature a 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. It will be accompanied by a 10.8MP ultra-wide camera with a 121.1-degree field of view and a 10.8MP dual PD telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The front camera above the foldable display will have an 8MP sensor. On the outside, the hole-punch cutout will feature a 9.5MP f/2.2 front camera.

A Tensor G2 SoC will power the Pixel Fold. It will launch with 12GB of RAM. The Pixel Fold with 256GB of storage is tipped to launch for $1,799 (roughly Rs 1,47,500), whereas the 512GB variant will cost $1919 (roughly Rs 1,57,400).
