Google Pixel Tablet To Come with 8GB of RAM, Four Colour Options Tipped

Google unveiled the Pixel 7 in October last year. At the Pixel 7 event, Google also previewed the Pixel tablet. The teaser revealed by Google showcased the rear and front of the tablet. As per the details available, this upcoming Pixel tablet from Google will feature a single rear-facing camera. Furthermore, the rear panel of the tablet will be made of 100 percent recycled aluminum. The tablet also recently made its appearance at FCC certification. As of now, the specifications of the tablet remained unknown. However, now, the folks at 9to5Google has disclosed the RAM details and colour options of the upcoming Pixel tablet.

Google Pixel Tablet To Feature 8GB of RAM

As per the information disclosed by 9to5Google, the Pixel tablet will ship with up to 8GB of RAM. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Tensor G2 chipset. On the software side of things, the tablet will run Android 13 OS out of the box. The tablet will debut in two storage options, and both of them will include charging speaker dock. Considering that the dock can charge the tablet with pogo pins, Google will not include a Type-C charging brick in the box. Google will be also shipping a official case along with the tablet.

The tablet will be available in four colour options. Previously, Google already has showcased the tablet in green colour and white colour options. The details of the other two colour options remain unknown. Google is reportedly launching the Pixel 7a on May 10. However, at the same event, we won’t get to see the Pixel tablet debut. The tablet is expected to launch in June.

Alongside, the Pixel 7a, Google is also rumoured to launch the Pixel Fold smartphone. The Pixel Fold from Google is expected to feature a 1840×2208 resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1200 nits brightness. The smartphone is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a Sony IMX787 main camera sensor, an ultra-wide Sony IMX386 sensor and a Samsung S5K3J1 telephoto camera. The handset is said to launch for around $1,799 (roughly Rs 1,47,500). The device is said to be available from June 27 with the pre-order starting from May 10.

As far as the specifications of the Pixel 7a go, it is expected to arrive with a 6.1-inch OLED 90Hz display featuring a Tensor G2 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, 64MP rear-facing camera, and wireless charging support. The smartphone is tipped to retail for $499 (roughly Rs 41,000).
