GoPro, the popular action camera maker, has announced its newest flagship action camera today, the GoPro Hero 11 Black. The Hero 11 Black is the successor to the GoPro Hero 10 Black, launched a year ago. Along with launching the new GoPro Hero 11 Black, the company has also launched an affordable and trimmed-down version of the Hero 11 Black called the GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini.
The new GoPro Hero 11 Black comes with a sensor, a wider Field of View (FoV), and new software features. The Hero 11 Black is powered by the same GP2 processor, which was introduced along with the GoPro Hero 10 Black. Let’s take a look at the details.

The GoPro Hero 11 Black now comes with a new 27MP sensor with a wider Field of View. This is a jump from the 23.6MP sensor on the last gen mode. In addition, you can also capture 24.7MP screen grabs, an upgrade from 19MP stills on the last gen. As for the video recording, the Hero 11 Black can shoot up to 5.3K videos at 60fps. In addition, the camera will also support 4k @ 120fps.
There is an improvement in terms of stabilization on the Hero 11 Black. The camera comes with an improved HyperSmooth 5.0 image stabilization, which is said to be better than the last model. In addition to HyperSmooth 5.0, there is also automatic horizon levelling. As for the display, the action camera comes with a 1.4-inch display on the front and a 2.27-inch rear touchscreen display on the rear.
The Hero 11 Black comes with a swappable 1720mAh battery and supports Type-C charging. It looks like GoPro is now offering Enduro Battery by default for Hero 11 Black, which will offer longer battery life. The camera comes with a waterproof design of down to 10 meters. It is powered by the GP2 processor (same as last gen) and users can expect the same snappy performance with the new models.

GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini: Features and Specifications
The GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini is a compact action camera powered by a GP2 sensor. This camera does not come with a display on the front or back and you will have to completely control the Hero 11 Black Mini from your phone or using the button on the front. Since there is no display, the camera comes with dual mounting fingers 一 one on the back and one on the bottom. This gives you more options to set up. It also comes with a new sensor with an 8:7 aspect ratio. 
You can shoot up to 5.3K60fps cinematic video and capture 24.7MP photos. Further, GoPro says this is one of the most durable GoPro cameras as the camera is entirely wrapped in a tough outer shell. It also features HyperSmooth 5.0 for stabilization, AutoBoost, and Horizon Lock. Other features include 8X slo-mo, Quik App, waterproof body, long-lasting Enduro battery, compatibility with 40+ mounts and Max Lens Mod.
