Vivo V9 Pro Sale Live Now for Everyone
The Vivo V9 Pro sale begins today on Amazon.in for Prime & Non-prime members. In case you are not aware, the Great Indian Festival Sale is starting early for Prime members. Along with the Vivo V9 Pro, Prime members will be able to avail other great deals on thousands of products.
Since it is the very first time that the V9 Pro will be going on sale in India, Amazon is not offering any flat discount on the smartphone. However, customers will be able to avail a 10% instant discount by paying for their order using an SBI credit or debit card and additional Rs.1,000 cashback as Amazon Pay Balance. As part of an exciting bundle offer, you can get a 2nd Gen Echo Dot at just Rs.1,499 when you purchase it along with the Vivo V9 Pro. Some of the other exciting offers on the Vivo V9 Pro include one-time free screen replacement, benefits up to Rs.4,050 for Jio subscribers, No Cost EMI for up to six months, and total damage protection at just Rs.49. The Vivo V9 Pro also comes with a pre-applied screen protector, case over, and free earphones inside the box.
Is the Vivo V9 Pro a Good Buy?
Priced at Rs.17,999, the Vivo V9 Pro is the most affordable Vivo V-series smartphone available in India currently. While we cannot say that the V9 Pro is a best-in-class device, it does have a lot going for it. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ FullView 2.0 display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio. In terms of performance, the V9 Pro is a significant upgrade compared to the V9, thanks to an octa-core Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset. In fact, the V9 Pro is one of only three Snapdragon 660-powered smartphones available below the Rs.20,000 mark currently. The V9 Pro impresses in the memory department as well with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.
However, there are a few things that you should also keeping in mind before making a decision. The Vivo V9 Pro comes with a slightly downgraded imaging hardware compared to the standard V9. It sports a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the rear and a single 16MP snapper on the front. The Vivo V9 Pro lacks fast charging support as well, a feature that the majority of its rivals offer. If you don’t mind the slightly inferior camera hardware and the lack of fast charging support, the V9 Pro is definitely a good buy.
