GTA V coming to Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 later this year
Rockstar is releasing GTA V on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Series S later this year. The game is set for release on November 11.
The company has also announced that the Online version is also releasing on the gaming consoles. GTA 5 Online will release on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S on November 11. Moreover, PS5 users will get a special bonus. The Online version is free for PS5 users for the first three months, GameSpot reported.
The new version has “new features and more.” However, the company is yet to share more details on how it intends to take full advantage of the next-gen hardware. “The new generation versions of GTAV will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever,” Rockstar said.
The Online version will have some special benefits for players to take advantage of in these expanded and enhanced versions when they drop. The company is celebrating the 20th anniversary of GTA 3. It plans to do so by introducing some “surprises”, specifically for GTA Online.
