
The upcoming online series “Guns and Gulaabs” by filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK will debut on the streaming service Netflix on August 18. The streamer has announced the premiere date for the show on their Twitter handle recently. Guns and Gulaabs is the first collaboration of Netflix with Raj & DK as directors. They had previously created “The Family Man” and “Farzi” for Prime Video, and they are currently working on “Citadel” for its Indian edition.

Official trailer and Plot
The series, which is an homage to 1990s Bollywood and is set in the fictional town of Gulaabganj, fuses genres as it follows a lovestruck mechanic, a reluctant heir to a powerful gang, and an upright policeman who becomes an agent of mayhem. In addition, three classmates encounter the purity of youth in a small town, filled with heartbreaks and betrayals.
Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the forthcoming series alongside Dulquer Salman, Gulshan Devaiah, and Adarsh Gourav. The show is produced by Raj and DK under the auspices of D2R Films, and it also stars TJ Bhanu, the late Satish Kaushik, Vipin Sharma, Manuj Sharma, Nilesh Diwekar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Pooja Gor.

The Hindi trailer of the show was released 6 days ago and it garnered an astopunding 43,155,722 views. The Malyalam trailer was released barely 22 hours ago and was viewed by 38,515 people showing the hype the show has created.
