HiSense is gearing up for the launch of a new smart TV in India. The company has teased the launch of a 55-inch QLED TV on Flipkart. This upcoming HiSense smart TV will be a premium offering, featuring Quantum Dot technology (QDT). We have seen smart TVs from Samsung and some other manufacturers that feature the Quantum Dot technology. With the use of this technology, the smart TV is expected to offer a range of colours and maintain accuracy even at higher brightness levels. HiSense 55-inch Smart TV launch in India
HiSense will soon launch a new 55-inch smart TV in India. The upcoming HiSense TV is confirmed to feature Quantum Dot Technology. The QLED TV is also confirmed to come with support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. While the former is a known standard for enhancing the audio experience, the latter is an HDR format developed by Dolby aimed at offering detailed picture quality with accurate colours. Dolby Vision also supports a wider range of settings than HDR10.
Lastly, the TV is confirmed to support full array local dimming, which means that one can expect better contrast levels. The HiSense teaser on Flipkart does not confirm much about the upcoming smart TV’s other specifications. It does reveal though that the TV has thin bezels around the screen. This will offer an immersive viewing experience.
The smart TV will launch in India during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. Flipkart has not yet announced the dates of its annual sale at the time of writing this. The sale is expected to go live sometime in October.
