Huawei sub-brand Honor announced its Honor 20 series smartphones at an event held in London on May 21. The company is set to introduce the Honor 20 series in India at an event on June 11. All the three Honor 20 series phones: Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and Honor 20i will be sold via Flipkart in the country. A teaser page for the Honor 20 series went live on the Flipkart website soon after the global unveiling in London, highlighting the key features of the three smartphones.

Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and Honor 20i: Expected Price in India

The Honor 20 Pro is the Huawei sub-brand’s latest flagship offering and is likely to take the OnePlus 7 and ASUS 6z in India. Honor’s “affordable flagship” will likely be priced somewhere around the INR 40,000 mark in the country. On the other hand, the slightly less impressive Honor 20 might cost around INR 35,000. The most affordable Honor 20 series smartphone is expected to be the Honor 20i, which is expected to be priced around the INR 20,000 mark. As mentioned earlier, all the three upcoming Honor 20 series smartphones will be sold online via Flipkart in India.

Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and Honor 20: Specifications, Features

The Honor 20 Pro has a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display panel with a punch-hole cutout and Full HD+ resolution. It features a 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core mobile processor with a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and up to 8GB RAM. The Honor flagship handset has an impressive 48MP + 8MP + 16MP + 2MP quad-camera setup at the rear and a 32MP selfie camera on the front. Its other key features include a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging, an IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port.

Honor 20 has the same 6.26-inch punch-hole display as the Honor 20 Pro and runs on Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 chipset. However, there are a few key differences. It comes with lower 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The quad-camera setup on the back of the phone consists of a 48MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide snapper, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Honor 20 also comes with a smaller 3750mAh battery.

Honor 20i features a marginally smaller 6.21-inch sized display with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop-style notch at the top. Under the hood is a 12nm Kirin 710 octa-core processor, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the back of the handset is a 24MP + 8MP + 2MP triple-camera setup. For selfies, the Honor 20i uses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is fueled by a 3400mAh battery with 10W charging. All the three Honor 20 series phones run on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Along with the Honor 20 series smartphones, the company will also launch the Honor Pad5 in India at its event on Tuesday. The tablet sports a 10.1-inch sized display and comes with the GPU Turbo technology for a smooth gaming experience. When it comes to audio, the tablet impresses with its dual stereo speakers that are tuned by Harman-Kardon.
