
Honor has launched a new smartphone in China today – the Honor 20 Youth Edition. Going by the specifications, the Honor 20 Youth Edition is placed between the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Lite. With the launch of this smartphone, the Honor 20 line up has five smartphones with the other two being the Honor 20 Pro and the Honor 20S. Honor 20 Youth Edition: Price, Availability
The Honor 20 Youth Edition comes in four variants. The base variant has 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it costs CNY 1,399. The second model packs 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it comes with a price tag of CNY 1,499. The third variant brings 6GB RAM + 128GB storage to the table, and it is priced at CNY 1,699. The top of the line variant offers 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and it will set you back CNY 1,899. The device will on sale in China starting 25th October.
Honor 20 Youth Edition Specifications
The Honor 20 Youth Edition has a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. The display has a tiny notch that houses the front-facing camera. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner on board.
Powering the Honor 20 Youth Edition is the Kirin 710F chipset; it has four Cortex-A73 CPU cores, four Cortex-A53 CPU cores, and Mali G51-MP4 GPU. On the software side of things, the device has Android 9 with EMUI 9.1.1.
The Honor 20 Youth Edition comes with three rear cameras – a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, you get a 16MP selfie camera. Although the device packs a powerful chipset, it cannot record 4K videos.
The device packs a 4000mAh battery supporting 20W fast charging. There is also a USB Type-C port for convenient plugging and unplugging of the charging cable. Speaking of connectivity, you also get dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-SIM with dual-VoLTE, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
