Honor 20i with 32MP Selfie Camera, 128GB Storage Goes on Sale Today Via Flipkart: Price, Launch Offers

As you might know, Honor launched the Honor 20i in India on 11th June and announced that it will go on sale starting 18th June from 12 PM. Well, as scheduled, the Honor 20i has gone on sale today. The Honor 20i is a Flipkart exclusive smartphone, meaning that it is available to purchase only through Flipkart. The Honor 20i comes in only variant – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. And it costs INR 14,999. Currently, Flipkart is offering a 10% instant discount on the smartphone provided that you use Axis Bank credit or debit card for the payment. Unfortunately, that’s the only launch offer there is.

Honor 20i Specifications

The Honor 20i is currently the most affordable smartphone in the Honor series at the moment. Although the device comes under the Honor 20 series, which is a high-end, flagship smartphone line up from Honor, the Honor 20i is a lower mid-range device.

The Honor 20i features a 6.21-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The display has a small, U-shaped notch at the top and thin bezels around it. So far, Honor hasn’t revealed if the smartphone has Gorilla Glass protection.

The Honor 20i has three cameras at the rear. First is a 24MP primary camera with f/1. 8 aperture, and phase-detection autofocus. The second camera has an 8MP resolution and features an ultrawide FoV. The third is a 2MP depth-sensor to aid in portrait images. The Honor 20i, in spite of being a lower mid-range smartphone, does not feature 4K video recording; it can record only record Full HD videos at up to 60 frames per second. The front-facing camera of the smartphone is a 32MP unit, and it is the same camera sensor that you find in the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro.

The Honor 20i packs the Kirin 710 SoC; it has four Cortex-A73 cores, four Cortex-A53 cores, and for graphics, the chipset has Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The smartphone, as I mentioned earlier, comes in only one configuration in India – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Honor 20i runs on Android 9 Pie OS with EMUI 9 customization.

The Honor 20i is powered by a 3400mAh battery, and in my opinion, the battery is quite small compared to other smartphones in the price range. To make things even worse, there is no fast charging option either. Moreover, the smartphone doesn’t even feature a USB Type-C port; it comes with microUSB port. And speaking of connectivity, the Honor 20i comes with dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features of the Honor 20i include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock option, and a glossy back panel with a gradient finish on it.
